Alisal Music Program
The Alisal Union School District in Partnership with FORXA Inc. will be beginning our All-Star Music Programs on weekdays and most Saturdays starting Monday August 26. The programs are open to all students in the district in grades 1-6. Some programs are district wide. Students will learn the basics of music in all classes as well as instruction in drumming, marching, marimbas/xylophones, guitar, trumpet, violin, dance, cheer, and colorguard. Alisal Folklorico Dance Program
The Alisal Union School District, in collaboration with Danzantes del Valle, will launch the cultural folklórico dance program during the week of September 1, 2024. Students will be introduced to fundamental dance techniques while exploring Mexican traditions, legends, customs, music, and dance. Click Here to Apply.
Alisal Aztec Dance Program
Alisal Union School District is excited to offer our students after-school Aztec dance classes! This ancient tradition of Mexico is founded on timeless ancient wisdom and harmony- within ourselves, our families, community and planet. Aside from learning various dances, we will also touch on drumming, Nahuatl language, the 4 elements, social and emotional wellbeing and more. Under the instruction of Ms. Reyes, Aztec dancer of 17 years, students will learn the basics of Aztec dance and it's various components.
