NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A SCHOOL FACILITIES NEEDS
ANALYSIS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ALTERNATIVE SECTION
65995.5 and 65995.7 FACILITY FEE (LEVEL II FEE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Board of the Alisal Union School District School District will consider input from the public on the proposed adoption of a School Facilities Needs Analysis (“SFNA”) for the District and the establishment of an increased “Alternative Section 65995.5 and 65995.7 School Facility Fee” (“Level II Fee”) on new residential developments. The adoption of the SFNA and the establishment of the Level II Fee are necessary to fund the construction of school facilities necessary to maintain current levels of educational services in the District and to accommodate growth due to development.
Members of the public are invited to comment in writing, on or before October 9, 2024, or appear in person at the hearing at 5:30 PM on October 9, 2024, at the following location:

Sanchez Education Center Located at 901 North Sanborn Road, Salinas, CA 93905
Materials regarding the SFNA and the Level II Fee are on file and are available for public review Monday– Friday, from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at the District Office Located at 155 Bardin Road, Salinas, CA 93905. Any person challenging the adoption of the SFNA or the establishment of the Level II Fee in court of competent jurisdiction after the conclusion of the public hearing may be limited to only those issues
